Its a modified horseshoe shape for luck and is engraved with ferny details and adorned with a rosy cross and leafy blooms. A perfect gift for Easter or First Communion. The Victorian locket was hand crafted in 9 karat gold in England in 1897. It is marked to the reverse with an Anchor to say it was assayed in the town of Birmingham and the letter date x for 1897, it also reads 9. 375 for 9
